Paula and Nilson are expecting soon. In just a few short weeks, their dog Grumpy will become the big brother. While very excited in anticipation of the birth of their baby, they wanted to celebrate Grumpy, too, during this special time. He's their 'first baby' after all!

Sarah and Chris are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their little boy Baker. Even their dog Moose is included in the excitement. Knowing the baby's name in advance allowed us some additional creativity in the session. Using wooden blocks, we were able to spell out the baby's name and rest them on Sarah's belly!

Kayla was glowing with excitement over her pregnancy and couldn't wait to capture this moment in time at the studio. She brought several clothing ideas and props, including her sweet little dog Halo. Kayla learned about us through our dear friends at Green Tea Yoga, which offers a wonderful prenatal yoga program.

Andrew's mom knew the engagement was coming. Call it mother's intuition. She bid on one of our portrait sessions at an auction even before Andrew popped the question. Shortly after the engagement, we got together for a portrait session with Stephanie & Andrew along the waterfront in Marblehead at Chandler Hovey Park.

Our final wedding of the season was an elegant one at the Marriott in Newton with Tamar and Dave. The front lobby made for a great background using the funky fisheye lens to capture the domed ceiling overhead. Many congratulations to the couple!
It's not every day I get to photograph a couple that elopes! Connie and Todd eloped on August 15th and contacted me the very next day to inquire about a portrait session to celebrate the occasion! They had clearly been planning on getting hitched, as Connie was in a gorgeous full length wedding gown.
Maternity sessions are truly special occasions. It is a celebration of the bond a couple has together towards the love they have for the baby to come. My goal is to capture that feeling of love mixed with anticipation and excitement. This couple also included the session their other special 'family' members, the dogs Chloe and Dakota.
Peg and John prove that you can be honeymooners at any stage in life. These two were very sweet together and young at heart, celebrating their fifth anniversary with a studio portrait together.
A spectacular summer day at a gorgeous venue. Misselwood is a stately ocean front property owned and managed by Endicott College. It's perfect for a wedding. And Deana and Evan were a delight to photograph in this lovely site! Aren't they just the most adorable couple?

It was my pleasure to join in on the surprise celebration marking Mary's 80th birthday. Wow, if I only hope to look as fabulous at 80 as she does! What a lively, lovely woman. After arriving by stretch limo, she was surrounded by a loving family for cocktails & dinner. The dinner party was enhanced by an entertainer-performer who swooned and serenaded everyone with a series of hits by Frank Sinatra.
An informal mid-week wedding on a special date was what Laurie and Larry wanted for their 07-08-09 wedding. Miraculously, the rain held off long enough for us to hold the outdoor ceremony down below the Minot Lightkeeper's Residence on Cohasset harbor.
To no one's surprise, Laurie found heart-shaped rocks along the harbor's edge while I photographed her and Larry after the ceremony.
Her bouquet was not your typical one, but rather, a sentimental one -- comprised of dozens of flowers gifted to her from several close friends & family and tied together only a few minutes before the ceremony itself. Even her gown carried meaning, as it was made from her Aunt Eileen's wedding gown.
Julie & Dave's wedding in late June was held at the Hellenic Center in Ipswich on a foggy misty day. It was a lovely union between the two. Julie's teenage daughter served as the maid of honor and Dave's autistic nephew proudly held the position of best man. A quick trip over to the Inn at Castle Hill allowed for some gorgeous shots overlooking the marshes towards Crane Beach.
Pure joy. It's so apparent on their faces. There's no mistaking that Sabrina & Chris are absolutely thrilled to be pregnant and to start their family! What a joy to witness their excitement and anticipation and to be able to capture this moment in their lives.
When I scheduled Erin for her maternity session, I had no idea just how much fun we'd have when her 2 year old daughter came along. Not only did her daughter wish to be included throughout the session, but she completely stole the show. Toward the end of the session, clever little Fiona took it upon herself to mimic mommy by lifting up her shirt to expose her belly too! What a priceless moment!
When Adam and Nicole stepped in front of the camera, there was little direction needed to get these two to be themselves. They are genuinely in love with one another and eagerly anticipating the bundle of joy kicking inside Nicole's belly. There were many laughs during our session and I felt honored to witness their joy.
The opportunity to have the expectant father participate in a maternity session can be quite lovely. Bringing the couple together in a portrait to celebrate their love for the soon to be born baby is a special moment in time. I particularly like this image, as Mike and Alaina look so blissful.
Ivy & Robbie were a great couple to work with... very playful and fun. After several rain delays due to a series of late afternoon thunderstorms, we found ourselves with the perfect summer evening and sunset!
